In a certain high school on the westcoast, two teenagers named Jim and Rick discovered a computer program that could rewrite reality itself. After Jim used the program to transform Robin Foster (a girl who had just publicly embarrassed him) into an anthropomorphic catgirl with six large breasts, then after liking the result he decided to spread the change to the female half of the human race, with one caveat…only Robin Foster would be aware of the change. Sure enough, every female on the planet was an anthropomorphic catgirl with six sizable breasts (depending on their age of course), equally used to walking on two legs or all fours with the only forms of clothing being collars and skirts (or other clothes bellow the waist if there was a need). Unfortunately, Jim had neglected to remember his friend’s cat allergy and his attempt to fix it turned Rick into a catgirl as well, this followed by his decision to choose a different animal resulting in all catgirls turning into doggirls of every conceivable breed, as well as skewing the gender balance to 3/4 female and 1/4 male. What follows is his friend Rick ending up as a labrador girl while his original girlfriend Sharon is a collie and Robin is an irish setter and the four of them are now in a relationship with only Jim and Robin aware of the old reality and only Jim able to do anything about it due to password protecting the program. However unbeknownst to Jim, the command of “only Robin Foster would be aware of the change” applied to all with that name, a name that was Gender Neutral.
To this end it is the suggestion that each chapter would be a vignette exploring various people named Robin Foster as they notice this change around them, a change that others are unaware of treating the altered world as normal. You could have a husband noticing the change on his way home after dropping his kids off only to watch the world change around him twice then arriving home to find that his next-door neighbors were now both female and married to him as well. Another possibility would be a young executive who recognizes the changes in the middle of a meeting with more women in the room than earlier and navigating the way this change effected corporate culture and the workplace. I Europe a young man and his girlfriend are in the middle of an afternoon make out session when the world shifts and the man finds himself now a woman as a hetero moment turns first catgirl yuri and then doggirl yuri, followed by the original lady of the pair suggesting at the end that they go looking for a guy later tonight to share.
Main characters other than the original duo (and their victim) who would be 18, the rest of the intended characters should be in the early 20s to mid 30s. My final scenario suggestion would be the early morning of a trans man who is clinically depressed with being unable to afford what they need to transition when the change hits and how they react to it and seeing how it changes their outlook on life.
The catgirls and doggirls would be fully anthropomorphic, with the doggirls having more of a variety of sizes equating to that of normal dog breeds, and in both cases the women would have six breasts in the average to large size range. Women in both altered realities usually wear nothing from the waist up and shoes usually being unnecessary.

It’s not a bad story concept but the shift from cat girls to dog girls just because seems a little pointless in the grand scheme of the whole concept.
If your just looking to appeal to a wider range of furry lovers might I suggest the tale lean even more into it where, they change Robin Foster into a cat girl, then in the attempt to fix Rick who perhaps rather then being allergic to cats be allergic to fur, they then at that point make a change that affects the whole female population and also has the desired effect on the gender ratio where they all become various animal women from dogs, wolves, otters, cats, bears, cows, rabbits etc. with the population portions that become each be either random or based on their litter sizes.
Then your series can handle not only the transformation difference between dog breeds, but also other different animal species which in turn can perhaps have their own cultures or norms based on their unique traits. Like cows having a social hierarchy based on breast size or milk production in choosing a mate, harems favored by some species like rabbits or lions, verses monogamy among wolves, foxes and otters.
If not then I would recommend at either pulling the initial cat girl aspect from the tale, it doesn’t really add much just slows down the progress for the story or restrict the cat girl transformation to the school or town so that later stories can skip this aspect as the dog transformation would be the only one to affect the whole world.
The name thing is a nice touch.
I know you want to restrict clothing to collars and skirts, but sort of feel like some fun could be had with tops, like having to figure out how three rowed bras work, or at least swim suits for these girls, or do they swim nude.
I would want one of these tales to feature the affect it has on an expecting mother interacting with other expectant mothers who don’t understand why Robin is freaking out, perhaps because she has gone from having one child to having a litter. Then having to deal with the mechanics of nursing her litter with six breasts and some changes to child rearing concepts.
I feel one potentila ending to this would be various Robin Fosters meeting at some park either just them or perhaps with their families, perhaps including the original one that Rick and Jim were focused on, having gotten in contact with each other through the Internet and formed a community to help understand what happened and act as a support group for each other.
Though rather than password protect the program would a better close out of the plot hole of why Jim is never forced by any of the potential Robins that knows the truth or he doesn’t alter their knowledge of things that the program gets deleted or the laptop its one destroyed and they are unable to relocate the program? Or is the intent to end with an older Jim taking it out again to make some other change to reality after growing bored with the current one or simply having taken the time to study how best to fix things first before trying again.
I was just posting based on the original story on the BEAddventure thread, that started with catgirls then one thread eventually switched them to doggirls due to Rick’s cat allergy. I chose the doggirl route because it would give the best overall variety without a species overload that would make it less likely for the story to get picked up. Besides the switch part way also would mean that the various Robin Fosters (male or female) would be experiencing two cultural shifts as they go about their day. As for clothing while the original stuck to skirts (jeans for those with heavier jobs) and collars I would argue for collared vests (with the other kind of collar in the place of a tie) to be added to the mix (maybe with a leather or cloth-strap under the six-pack to secure. Besides while all Robin Fosters would know Jim changed them the command never specified a Jim last name or location. The other reason for setting it to one anthro species would be a similar change to behavior across all girls/women.
That said maybe it would do better to leave the catgirl part entirely out and focus on doggirl entirely.
I agree with Tek, it would make more sense to transform almost half the females from catgirls to doggirls. Also, Jim sounds like a dumbass who completely missed the memo after the second or third change approach, which can work, but the line about password protecting the program for basically his exclusive use makes it seem like he is more willfully ignorant of the very changes he is making, which sounds more like a lapse in character. And on the furry front, after the dog and cat anthro effects, maybe he decides to increase the variety, but some of his choices he makes backfire in ways he didn’t anticipate. Then, before he knows it, things have spiraled well out of his control, with him scrambling to figure out how to “fix” the very problem he created, without undoing any of the kinky changes because he can’t figure out which changes he made that led to that, and he really is just a pervert that wants to keep all the sexy changes without consequences for him.
Again, this was basically an adaptation of an old BEAddventure thread, the thing basically led from his friend Rick discovering what could be said to be a reality source code by mistake (Master PC on steroids) after he had an embarrassing run-in with Robin Foster one of the alphas of the Cheerleading Team. It could be argued that he was thinking cats at first but remembered his buddy’s allergies and switched to dogs before sending the change (I originally tried to post the titled with a strikethrough on the Catgirl Part). Besides the high school setting would only be the suggestion for the first part. If this gets made the idea would be to focus on different Robin Fosters in the world and their coping with the new normal (whether they are doggirls or not). Besides if we stick with dogs we get to go with a variety from the various breeds that they may come in along with seeing how society would change with women being a blend between two social species. Alternatively, if this gets picked it could be an Animal Girl World, I was just suggesting a single species to make the social shift consistent.
I don’t see cultural shift between catgirls and doggirls being that potentially great unless your putting something specific into the mix, like catgirls means they dress like Cleopatra and doggirls does the skirt shift and I guess are more stepford wives?
Plus you have to consider how long if this gets picked up you have spend on one transformation over the other for the Robins besides the main one. Are you envisioning one or two volumes per an alternate Robin, if its two your unlikely to cover many alternative situations based on the general series length most even long running series get. If you do both catgirl and doggirl that would likely be one volume with an alternate as a catgirl and one volume as doggirl. I think you’d be better served with one chapter per an alternate with two or three dedicated to the set up, perhaps only do the catgirl transformation in that main storyline and leave the others to focus more on the characters final adjustments to their final life.
How many chapters do you see on this, how many other Robins to consider. I figure two to three volumes for the set up and one for the epilogue of what occurs to Jim at least. I figure for potential situations to examine you could have
1) Expectant mother or man turned into expectant mother having to deal with changes in raising children and advice for soon to be mothers where litters and potentially multiple women to a man is the norm.
2) Male turned to female having to deal with the change in gender and their previous wife or girlfriend now being another of the females mated to the male of the house and perhaps a shift in what their profession with their gender change.
3) Woman having to deal with suddenly going from an only child to runt of the litter, the new dating dynamics involved with the gender balance shift and shifts in their job based on doggirl transformation, maybe they work clothing retail or at a daycare that now has whole new activities and much more clients.
4) Two Robin fosters who were friends helping each other deal with the changes to their lives following the change, knowing their not alone makes them more sure of the changed memories where others may doubt their own minds a bit.
It’s fine to lift an idea from a thread, but you have to consider how to adapt it to comic form and consider what plot holes you may want to plug.
Jim would have to have an ending other than just getting locked out of the program, all the Robins know he’s responsible, and that means at least one that knows him can point the others in his direction or just hound him herself but I suspect she would put the word out if he flees thus he would be a wanted man among them. I figure a good ending would be him doing a runner and then nullifying himself and the program by attempting to use it to make a final fix only to have it backfire on him again.
Lets say either
1) He accidently converts himself to a doggirl with no knowledge of what occurred
2) He changes his name and appearance to lose his pursuers but in turning himself into an Alpha dog, but in doing so since he is no longer Jim he loses his knowledge of what occurred
3) He turns the rest of the male humans into dogmen, leaving himself as the only human left, he gets captured but not by the Robins, but as a rare animal, he spends the rest of his days in a zoo where various Robins from the series can be seen peering down on him.
Follow up to one of my previous comments.
Giving it a bit more thought if the switch from catgirl to doggirl does stay in I could see where the cultural shift could be like in Egypt Catgirls have authority over male humans, while dog girls would be the reverse and be pets to the human males instead.
Thought of a few more potential Robin scernarios
1) Isolated woman living on say a farm alone thinks shes the only one transformed, begins to panic about being discovered, whether the transformation will reverse or get worse where she goes full dog and mate with her sheepdog.
2) An ill or overweight individual finds themselves given a new lease on life as the transformation has turned them into a healthy dog girl, and there willing to take the bad with the good in exchange for good health.
I know I have put forth a few times the concept of the Robins finding each other and having a sort of support group meeting perhaps the setting is the first such meeting being called together say a year or two after everything happened. The more I think of it I believe it could be a good starting and end point. I mean the readers get to see all of the Robins that will potentially or eventually have chapters at the start so they can anticipate one they like the looks of tale down the line. The start can be the original Robin recounting old news of how this all happened, then each of them telling their own stories and the epilogue is her revealing what she discovered happened to Jim or speculating where then we get the final flashback to Jim and his end fate that the Robins are unaware of.
Yeah, I get what you mean though, it might make things a little more interesting too especially with competing instincts and social mores. With doggirls being more interested in a pack and catgirls being more solitary but likely to acclimate to a pack that they feel accommodating towards. Maybe make it a 3:1 ratio rather than a 1:1 skewed towards dogs given the greater visual variety in body types. This would overall make the parity of on average one guy and one catgirl population wise for every three doggirls. It might also factor towards behavior with catgirls being introverted except towards select groups of familiar individuals and doggirls being more sociable and outgoing.
Maybe instead of 50/50 maybe it would be better to make the end result of ‘human’ population being 1/5 men 1/5 catgirl 3/5 doggirl that way there would be a scope of visual variety (catgirls look like palate swaps except for fur length) while the doggirls bring the variety in both size and variety. Also lends itself to behavior with doggirls typically being social and extraverts and catgirls usually being natural introverts.
Sorry for the triple comment, I couldn’t see my old posts and thought that they may have been deleted.
It took a while for them to be posted, I did a double myself.
Other then the culture aspect if you keep both dog and catgirl you can play up the old species rivilary aspect as well for fun, with different species girls competing for one mans affection for example, or even certain jobs being usually taken by certain breeds or one side or the other, a full fire station staffed by dalmation doggirls, dog girl life guards because catgirls don’t generally like to get wet, catgirls working in cafe’s (reference to cat cafes, catgirl exterminators, catgirl executive fatcats etc.
I can’t help also but feel the differences would play a role in personality, I see the dog girls as more prone to being bimbo’s simply because dogs are typically more exhuberant and energetic. I see the catgirls as more Tsundere in personality, cold and aloft in public but very affectionate with their partner in private, these would be the cold and aloft campus or workplace queens (another cat pun or reference).
Can’t deny that the dogs have the potential for more varied body types, but that’s not to say the catgirls don’t have any potential. One based on a sphnix could be the closest to human appearance that may remain due to them being hairless, and if you throw in that some of the catgirls are based on some of the larger cat species like tigers, cougars etc, you could slip in some minor giantess tag into the tale by making those with those gene’s larger then the rest of the catgirls.
