Dan has been dating Kitty for a few months now, he can’t believe how hot she is, even if she is a complete bimbo. He keeps finding it odd how she is a member of the Cerebrum super pulchritudinem (note: Latin for brains over beauty) sorority, which is strangely made up a few brainless hotties like Kitty but mostly filled with mediocre looking brainy girls.

An old friend of Kitty’s eventually approaches him, Miranda shows him pictures of Kathrine as she calls Kitty before she became a member of the sorority, she was ok looking but from the pictures clearly very smart. Miranda says that the sorority has some sort of curse on it that got Katherine, every term one of the girls becomes a bimbo while the others get smarter. Miranda is trying to find a way to break the curse but she needs Dan’s help as Kitty is avoiding her.

Dan thinks things over, and decides to discuss Miranda’s theory with Kitty, after all he loves his hot bimbo girlfriend for who she is now, plus he noticed while Miranda looked happy in the pictures Katherine didn’t. Kitty when she hears of this pouts and drags him into the sorority house and has him tell the Sorority president. She thanks him for the information and asks Kitty to show him a good time in her room while they resolve this.

After a very good time with Kitty, the president calls him, he finds Miranda restrained in a chair and is a little worried. President admits that the sorority is indeed cursed, but it was one of their forbearers making, girls who pledge to this sorority are told of the curse outright, though those that fail to stay forget afterwards, so its stayed no more than a campus rumor. The curse is such that among each freshman group of sorority recruits one of them will become beautiful and brainless while the other girls gain more intelligence and lose a small amount of beauty. Therefore the women of the sorority have a chance to increase their intelligence the attribute most place the highest value on, while one among them gets to live the fantasy some have of being a popular school beauty.

Miranda argues that Katherine couldn’t be happy being the sacrifice, the president sighs and calls Kitty in, using some magic she temporarily restores Kitty’s intelligence, she admits she is happy, she no longer feels pressured by her intellect and she really does love Dan. Plus Miranda was never a good friend to her, she always teamed up with her for projects to leech off her hard work and she figures since she’s changed Miranda’s grades have tanked and she just wants her tutor and homework doer back. Miranda still doesn’t want to believe this so the President decides to admit her to the sorority, as she places the magic stamp on Miranda’s forehead she begins to transform. The President admits the curse is random when the stamp is applied to the pledges hands, but always results in bimbo transformations when applied to the forehead. Soon Miranda is a bubbly happy bimbo, her intelligence granted at Dan’s request primarily to Kitty to make her a little smarter, the rest going out among all of the rest of the sorority. Dan asks what will happen to him since he knows the secret. The President says they are very careful to make sure their more brainless sisters find good men, otherwise he would have been separated from Kitty long before this. He had proven himself when he told Kitty of Miranda’s plans, so long as he didn’t do anything to make Kitty unhappy he was fine, if not well the Cerebra Sorority was full of very creative minds to think up ways to get revenge and the stamp had a few more tricks she could display for him.

Dan steps back and says he understands, so what will they do with Miranda now? The President asks if he has any good friend needing a girlfriend, Dan smiles thinking of his best friend and roommate Miles a bit nerdy but always a good guy who has been jealous of his good fortune and asking him if Kitty had some friend he could introduce him to. The two are seen in the end years later having a double wedding Miles to Miranda now calling herself Meadow and Dan to Kitty.

  1. This could be fun, and could offer some fun social commentary.

Could funny if there was also a Fraternity, which Dan luckily never tried to apply to thanks to its own rumors, that is filled with Himbo jocks that basically doing the reverse of the Sorority where one of them gets the intelligence with “duty” of dealing with all the academic work hinted at (a little tease for a potential sister story)

  2. Not a bad idea, a sort of associated fraternity, perhaps with a related seal, in that scenario there would be the question of whether the intelligence would be returned to the other frat members upon graduation or if we go with the aspect of with that fraternity they produce one lex luthor type intelligent businessman each generation.

But really as far as follow up stories on this I was considering either a pre-quel of how the sorority came to be where either the sorority got the seal from men using it to create trophy wives or the founder finding it and learning its powers set somewhere in the early 1900’s just as women were seeking equal rights and getting access to universities, or a sequel where we see what the sorority does to deal with any of the following

    1) any unsuitable male trying to romance one of the house bimbos
    2) how they handle frat boys trying to sneak in for the customary panty raids as part of their fraternity initiations
    3) revenge against any jocks or cheerleader types that target the sorority or its members

Just for anyone curious other functions of the seal, which is always under the control of the sorority president / leader I was thinking of it having in other tales would be
    1) the sorority leader can use the seal to gather the whole sororities intelligence to make herself super intelligent to work out major issues affecting the sorority, this is only temporary but while in effect makes the rest of the sorority bimbos
    2) the seal can be used to change males into female bimbos or just brainless men
    3) the seal can be used to steal just intelligence or beauty from a target, to the point where in the past the sorority house cellar has held those reduced to near inhuman brainlessness or ugliness when punishing either betrayal within the sorority or those who threatened it.
    4) the seals affects only redistrubutes traits to active sorority memebers not graduates or legacy members.
    5) once a sorority member leaves the sorority they lose all memory of seal and changes it made to them, associate those changes to the usual college fifteen pound sort of myth
    6) a graduating sorority leader can choose when they leave office whether to increase their beauty or intelligence or stay as they are as a bonus for their term in office, this makes the position very sought after by some
    7) Only the sorority leader can handle the seal, anyone else attempting to use or steal it will converted into a bimbo instantly if they try to use it, slowly if they only keep it on their person and be compelled after transformation to return themselves and the seal to the sorority

Thinking of the further mythos of the seal, I figure its Norse in origin, tied to the Goddess Hela, with the ability of the seal tied to her mythic appearance of half her body being dead and the other living, as she stands between beauty and ugliness thus the seal has the powers it does. Or would a link to Athena who was a child of thought as she sprang from Zues head seem more appropriate. Hmm might depend on how dark one wants to take the tale. It was found by the sororities founder in a cave in Norway or Greece and she slowly learned how it worked.
